Welcome to The Brady Report—an independent space where I share my thoughts, opinions, and occasional rants. What you’ll find here isn’t set in stone; my perspective evolves as I learn, experience new things, or simply change my mind.

I’m a GenX nerd who grew up alongside technology. My career has always revolved around tech and the internet, but I’ll admit, the last few years left me a bit uninspired—until the recent boom in AI reignited my curiosity. Now, I’m drawn not just to gadgets and innovation, but to the way technology intersects with our lives and society.

Beyond tech, I’m passionate about EDC (Every Day Carry)—pocket knives, flashlights, watches, and all sorts of useful gear. That love started in the Pacific Northwest, shaped by the outdoors and a lifelong appreciation for nature.

Raising three kids with my wife has shifted my focus, too. I’ve become more interested in society, civics, and politics. You’ll see all these topics show up here, sometimes blending together, sometimes standing alone. Maybe you’re into watches but not politics, or vice versa—that’s totally fine. Not everything has to connect. Hopefully you can enjoy the stuff you like even if you don't agree with my thoughts on other topics.

In full disclosure, I use AI for a number of things related to this site. I create graphics (or at least the ideation of the graphic), I use it to help tease out an idea or look for blindspots I may have. I think of it as a tool to help improve my skills rather than a shortcut. I always want to be the human in the middle.

In the future, I might offer a paid subscription to help support this project. For now, enjoy the content and thanks for your support.
